FAQ

What is MELT?

Most of us carry tension in our neck, shoulders, and low backand it adds up over time. MELT helps you reconnect with your body and release that built-up stress so you can move with more ease. Using a soft roller and therapy balls (provided), you’ll learn simple techniques that rehydrate your fascia (the connective tissue that supports your entire body) to improve flexibility, balance, and stability.

MELT BENEFITS:

  • Ease neck and shoulder tension
  • Decompress your low back
  • Improve posture and balance
  • Calm your nervous system
  • Relieve stiff, achy joints and muscles

What is Chair MELT?

Chair MELT is a gentler option with all moves done seated or standing. Includes arthritis hand treatment, face treatment and foot treatments using the therapy balls as well as breathwork techniques with the soft roller seated.

What do I need for class?

MELT tools are provided for the in-person classes. You will need the soft foam roller for the online Zoom classes.

  • Reduce inflammation
  • Relieve muscle and joint pain
  • Improve athletic performance
  • Improve balance & stability
  • Modifications for different abilities

  • Anti-aging face treatment

Can I use a firm roller for MELT?

The short answer is no! During a MELT class we use gentle compression to hydrate fascia and relieve joint and muscle pain and stiffness. The firm rollers are designed to increase blood flow to the muscles. So even though they look the same, the firm and soft rollers are designed for different results in the body.
